| What a wonderful find, the island is hospitable and always sunny; with a beautiful breeze! One of the "ABC" islands, Curaçao is just West of Aruba and East of Bonaire. The island is 182 square miles with a population of 130,000 - 140,000. I explored Christoffel Park and Shete Boka National Park and wow, it was amazing. I went into the caverns, hiking, and I saw some spectacular views of the ocean and swells coming into the caves. I was able to meet with the Project Manager at Riffort Village and was fascinated by the history of this shopping & entertainment complex. It was actually a fort (still standing & beautiful architecture) being converted and restored into a wonderful shopping, restaurant, and historical village. The cuisine, shopping, and nightlife are abundant and easily accessible. The friendly people, wonderful climate, crystal clear seawater, spectacular diving, floating market, pontoon bridge, secluded bays, national parks & caves, entertainment, activities, and history makes Curaçao a travelers paradise.
